Rebekah Stafford
Research Analyst
Rebekah Stafford is a research analyst in the youth development program area. Her work emphasizes mixed-methods evaluation, including quantitative and qualitative data collection, analysis, and synthesis to inform program improvement and decision-making. Rebekah’s primary research interests focus on adolescent health and well-being, out-of-school time, and school and community-based programs.
Some of Rebekah’s recent work includes analyzing publicly available data on school-age child care, supporting the analysis of the Opportunity Index, analyzing the national prevalence of ACEs, and supporting the evaluation of DC’s school-based behavioral health supports expansion.
Prior to joining Child Trends, Ms. Stafford supported mixed-methods evaluations of education programs serving school-age children. As a graduate student, she supported an evaluation of a national domestic violence homicide prevention program and provided consultation and quality improvement support to schools and community-based organizations implementing trauma-informed, school-based mental health programs.
Rebekah holds an MA in community psychology with a concentration in community-clinical services from the University of New Haven. She also holds a BA in psychology with a minor in philosophy from the University of New Haven.
