Zipi Diamond is an experienced qualitative researcher and policy analyst with a focus on early care and education (ECE), both at the state and federal levels. Zipi is especially interested in promoting access to high-quality ECE. With this goal in mind, she has worked on teams to support three states (MN, RI, GA) in revising or evaluating their Quality Rating and Improvement Systems to better support young children, families, and early educators.

Zipi is currently pursuing a Master of Science in human ecology at UW-Madison, specializing in early childhood research and policy.

Prior to joining Child Trends, Zipi worked for The Lewin Group, a health and human services consulting firm. At Lewin, she supported the Office of Head Start’s Monitoring System through qualitative data analysis, technical assistance, and project management.
