Alyssa Ibarra is a research assistant in the child welfare program area. Before joining Child Trends, Alyssa graduated from the University of California Riverside with a degree in psychology. There, she participated in research lab focused on the effects of childhood adversity. After graduation, Alyssa entered the field of behavioral analysis (ABA), where she focused on behavioral development and program implementation.

Alyssa is passionate about child welfare and her research interests include foster youth and childhood trauma.
