This resource highlights how different types of administrative data—or information about individual children, families, and/or workforce members collected and maintained as part of the operation of preschool programs—can be used to understand what is happening in a preschool system. We describe different sources of administrative data and then outline which STEP Forward with Data Framework questions can be answered.
